オンラインの力に感謝

スリランカで日本語学校の先生をしている知人の、

日本文化イベントに オンラインで参加させていただきました。

そのイベントでは 生徒の皆さんが様々な日本文化を体験していました。

日本の料理（太巻きや焼きそば）を作ったり、

折り紙を折ったり、

浴衣を着たり、

お箸を使ったゲームをしたり。

その中で、日本語で夢や好きなことを

書く時間があり、

皆さんが勉強中の日本語で 一生懸命書いた作品を

見せていただき感動しました。

短い時間でしたが、オンラインを通して

スリランカにいる皆さんと

同じ時間を過ごせたことに感激し感謝しています。

M先生、貴重な経験を

ありがとうございました。

I am grateful for the power of online learning.

I participated online in a Japanese culture event held by an acquaintance of mine

who is a Japanese language school teacher in Sri Lanka.

At the event, the students experienced various aspects of Japanese culture.

They made Japanese food (thick rolls and yakisoba),

folded origami,

wore yukata,

played games using chopsticks, and so on.

During the event, they had time to write about their dreams and interests in Japanese,

and I was moved when they showed me the works

they had worked so hard to write in the Japanese they were studying.

Although it was a short time,

I am thrilled and grateful to have had the opportunity to spend the same time

with everyone in Sri Lanka online.
